    Task

    The Odd One Out (or Odd Man Out) activity is a popular quiz or puzzle in language learning and teaching where you (the student) has to choose which word, picture or symbol does not fit with the others

    In this activity, there are five words in each group. One word (i.e. the odd one out) is different from the rest. You must choose the odd word. Which word does not match with the rest of the group?

    The reasons may vary according to their:

    1. Meaning
    2. Grammatical similarities
    3. Factual connections

    In class, you will have a chance to compare your answers with your peers and discuss the reasons behind your answers.
